CAW is the largest private sector union in Canada with over 200, 00 members from coast to coast. We manufacture granola bars and breakfast cereal, making us a great market for crops from farmers from the western provinces and Ontario. We became members in November of 1996. As local 1996, we have approximately 510 members at the Pepsico food plant. We represent workers throughout virtually every sector of the Candian economy. At the Peterborough mill, we process 70, 000 tons of oats a year.
