What you should know about Trent Valley Literacy Association
We will be closing our building at 1 PM today due to the extreme heat & Environment Canada advisories.At this time TVLA will also be closing our offices early tomorrow Thursday, July 18th. The office will remain open till 3 PM. Unfortunately, TVLA lacks air conditioning.We will try to call all scheduled student and tutor groups. We will be closing early tomorrow afternoon due to weather forecasts that predict record high temperatures. If you are not ed, please note that we will still be closed after 3 on that day!Morning & early afternoon sessions up until 3 PM will not be affected, and will run as usual.Our hours will return to normal on Friday (we will be open until 1 PM as usual), Monday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and beyond, with all programs running normally.Drink plenty of water, eat lightly, stay in the shade and don't sweat too much!.
